my Suzuki jumps a little after going from neutral to first?
Johnny P asked:
it kind of does this loud click and jumps slightly not much at all. since this is my first bike (suzuki katana 600) and its salvaged title im not sure if its normal or not. Also how easy is it to change the fairings myself? it seems pretty easy. i have some auto mechanic experience. thank you.

if ur car is automatic transmission,,tha problem 4 from valvebody…it will be dirty,,.it is located inside the gear box,,,we can solve this problem by cleaning valve body..after cleaning must be put new transmission fluid..

Wow, not sure what question that guy read.
My TL1000R does the same. I think it is just the spinning of the input shaft of the ******. Think about it, you squeeze the clutch, the input shaft was spinning at about 1000 rpm or so. Not like it is going to stop spinning as soon as you squeeze the clutch.
Fairings are a piece of cake, they have maybe 4-8 allen head screws depending on the model, your Katana has a full fairing, I am betting your on the 6-8 screws per side.
