I bought an engine wiring harness for a 1995 Silverado Z71 with a 5.7L engine from a salvage that had sent me a response to my part request. Turns out, they sent me one from a Suburban and the Suburban doesn't have the brake lamp relay that is there on a Silverado so I don't have any brake lights. I already checked with the dealership and looked at 1500 style pickups to make sure it's supposed to have the brake lamp relay and it is definitely supposed to have one. I cannot find a local salvage that has what I need and I need the part bad because it is keeping me from working as I don't have a way back and forth because of not having brake lights. Therefore, I'm left with having to order one from another parts request response online. How can I make sure that if they send me the wrong one (again) that I can get my money back?

common practice is to buy with a credit card and do a chargeback if they refuse to accept your return.

why not just rewire it your self dont need a wiring harness just one wire bad find out where wire is bad replace it or tie it back together truth is Silverado's had a tail light problem long time many times the outlet where blub is bad try replacing housing before rewiring my friend replace his three time wasnt the wiring put the housing in the fender
