Ok i know this guy that has a 1993 rx7 and has a bunch of court fines so he is selling it. I've seen the car, it has 80,000 original miles, its an auto. with nice interior and a few normal dings on the body. it DOES have a salvage title. The guy said the engine needs new seals (apex seals) and it should be good to go. he said when he wrecked it after the seals went it did start and load and hasnt been started since (a few years). he is wanting $5,500 for it as is. I am thinking about getting it and putting it in a storage garage and working on it when i have some extra cash or having it worked on. U guys think its a good deal?
Its the 13b twin turbo motor. My father used to have a 91 rx7 and thats when rx7's became my dream car. I'm pretty posative my uncle rebuild my dads motor and knows rotary motors inside and out and would be glad to help/teach me cuz i'm very interested. I'm going to get more details on it, call insurance company and find stuff out then make a decision. thanks guys

My starter went out. I price the auto part store and they are expensive. I call a salvage yard and they have one that is a little cheaper. Is a salvage yard ok to get a starter from our should I go to the auto parts store? Any answers would be grateful!

i found this truck in a dealer for this price. The truck comes with a rebuilt title and the dealer said it might need some suspension work. The interior (all leather) is in excellent condition and the exterior just needs the front bumper painted. Is it worth it and will I have any problems with the rebuilt title? I have a 1999 subaru legacy that had a salvage title because it was damaged but my dad is a auto body repair man so we fixed it and I havent had any problems. Ive had that car for 6 years now. Is it worth it or will I have to put in a lot of extra money to get it fixed?

I HAVE A NASCAR OPEN WHEELED MODIFIED STOCK CAR. WHEN IT WAS FIRST BUILT BACK IN 1984 THEY USED AN OLDSMOBILE FIRENZA 2 DOOR COUPE BODY OR SKIN.
ON OPEN WHEELED MODIFIEDS THEY ONLY USE THE BODY PANELS FROM THE FIRE WALL BACK, AND ONLY THE OUTER SKIN.
SO I NEED THE ROOF, RIGHT AND LEFT DOOR SKINS, R AND L QUARTER PANELS, TRUNK LID ECT………
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY THESE BODY PARTS?
DON'T SAY A SALVAGE YARD, I JUST NEED THE SKINS, THERE IS WAY TOO MUCH WORK IN SEPARATING THE OUT SKIN AND MAKING IT FIT RIGHT.
FOR EXAMPLE; IF I BUY AN ENTIRE DOOR, I WOULD HAVE TO CUT THE OUT SKIN OFF. BACK IN 1984 YOU COULD BY JUST THE SKINS.
FROM THE MID 1960'S UP UNTIL THE LATE 70'S MY FATHER BUILT NASCAR MODIFIED STOCK / RACE CARS. THE LAST CAR HE BUILT WAS IN THE LATE 70'S AND HE USED THE SKIN OF A FORD PINTO. BACK THEN YOU COULD BUY JUST THE OUTER BODY SKINS.
WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND A COMPANY THAT SELLS REPLICA OR SURPLUS BODY PARTS FOR ANTIQUE OR CLASSIC CARS.
I HAVE ANOTHER VINTAGE OPEN WHEELED MODIFIED AND THIS ONE HAS A 59 ANGLIA BODY ON IT NOW, I WANT TO PUT A DIFFERENT BODY ON IT, FOR EXAMPLE A 1934 CHEVY 5 WINDOW COUPLE OR MAYBE EVEN A 1970'S PINTO BODY.
SO IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A COMPANY THAT SELLS REPLICA OR SURPLUS BODY SKINS OR PANELS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
I DID A SEARCH FOR PINTO BODY PARTS AND I ONLY FOUND FRONT FENDERS.
